# Delete, cleanup, and retention

Control clip history size: delete items, batch cleanup, and understand retention vs performance.

## What to do

- Delete unwanted clips from the list (exact gestures or menus depend on your app build).  
- Adjust **capacity / retention** in **Settings** (names can vary by release); see [Settings overview](/advanced/settings) for a map of items.  
- If the app still feels heavy after cleanup, continue with [Settings overview](/advanced/settings).
