# Privacy and sensitive content

Practical controls for **sensitive clips, exclusions, and sync scope**—not a substitute for legal policy.

## What to do

- Use [History filter rules](/features/clip-history/filter-rules) to skip sensitive apps.  
- In the sync settings, review and manage which devices and scopes are allowed to synchronize, so you know exactly which data leaves the local device.  
- Delete short-lived secrets when done.
