# Copy and Reuse OCR Results

After character recognition finishes, you can copy, search, quick-insert the text at your current cursor, or save the result as a new plain text clip to sync it across your connected devices.

## Workflow

Once text extraction completes, the preview panel presents selectable lines. You can drag your mouse (or slide on mobile screens) to select a range of characters, or double-click to select individual words.

:::
:::step{title="Copy, insert, or save as card"}

* **Copy All:** Click **Copy All** at the bottom to copy the entire extracted text block into your system clipboard.
* **Quick Insert:** Click **Quick Insert** to paste the selected characters directly into the cursor position of your current active application.
* **Save as Text Card:** Click **Save as Text Card** to instantly convert the OCR results into a standard text clip card in your history.

:::
:::step{title="Verify and sync"}

**Success sign:**
1. If you chose **Save as Text Card**, return to the clipboard history and verify that a new text card containing the extracted words is listed.
2. If sync is enabled, this newly created text card will sync to your other devices just like a normal text clip (via Nearby Sync or Cloud Sync).
