First Steps
This guide helps you finish baseline setup after installation and validate that core workflows work as expected.
Prerequisites
- You have completed Installation.
- Optionally prepare a second device if you want to test sync.
Setup flow

Open Settings and review required permissions
Grant required permissions for clipboard access, background behavior, and related system capabilities.

Enable core features
Make sure clip history is enabled. If you need multi-device usage, enable sync features as well.

Tune basic options
Adjust shortcuts, display preferences, and history capacity for your workflow.

Run your first copy-paste validation
Copy a text snippet and paste it to confirm it is captured and available.
Verify the result
Baseline setup is complete if:
- New copied content appears in clip history.
- Paste output works without obvious delay or missing content.
- Sync-enabled devices receive new clips in expected scenarios.
