Install
This page describes how to complete Octoclip installation across platforms, how to verify a successful install, and what to check first if you encounter problems during the process.
System Requirements
To ensure Octoclip runs correctly, verify your device meets these minimum OS requirements:
- Windows: Windows 10 (1809+) or newer (64-bit)
- macOS: macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or newer
- Android: Android 8.0 or newer
- iOS / iPadOS: iOS 15.0 or newer
Install only via the Official Download Page or its linked official application stores. Do not use repackaged installers or unknown links to prevent security and data risks.
To complete your first cross-device copy/paste cycle, we recommend installing the app on at least two devices.
Verification Steps
Launch the application and verify that the Octoclip icon is visible in your system tray (bottom-right corner).
On your current device, copy a short text snippet (e.g., octoclip-test).
Success sign: Open Octoclip's main history window (or open the app/pull down history on iOS). Confirm that your copied text is recorded as the top plain text card in the list.
