macOS Overview
On macOS, you usually get a desktop-class experience: clip history, Nearby Sync, Cloud Sync, and resident-process style clipboard monitoring (still subject to system permissions and power policies).
What matters on macOS
- Privacy permissions: Grant prompts and System Settings → Privacy & Security entries for input monitoring, Accessibility, Screen Recording (if applicable), Files and Folders, and other prompts as they appear.
- Shortcut conflicts: If a hotkey is owned by the OS or another utility, the app may appear “unresponsive.”
- Sleep / lid closed / lock: Behavior can differ from always-on desktop use; when something fails, check permissions and power-related settings first.
