Octoclip aims for a consistent clipboard and sync experience across platforms, but OS privacy frameworks, clipboard-access policies, and background-execution rules make some permissions and setup steps differ by platform. Where to start by platform

• Windows: tray + resident behavior is relatively straightforward; see Windows advanced features for deeper integration.
