How text, images, files differ in clip history for display, search, and reuse.

Typical types

• Plain text: usually easiest for search and cross-device smoke tests.
• Images / files: size and previews may differ; some target apps reject large or special payloads—verify by pasting. If paste fails, see Cannot paste.
• Rich or mixed content: depends on the source app and OS clipboard—verify by pasting.
