Screenshots
Sometimes you see content that is awkward to copy as text, so you screenshot first. The app can treat screenshots as a clip source too.
How it works
After you take a screenshot:
- The system saves a new image
- The app detects a new screenshot (or you share the capture into the app manually)
- That image is stored as one clip in clip history
When paired with OCR (text recognition), you can also:
- Turn text in the image into a plain-text clip
- Search, copy, and reuse that content more easily
Good fits
- Apps that do not allow copying text, only screenshots
- Chat or feed content that is tedious to copy line by line
- You want to “remember” a visual, but still be able to search the text or details inside it later
