    Screenshots

Sometimes you see content that is awkward to copy as text, so you screenshot first. The app can treat screenshots as a clip source too.

    How it works

    After you take a screenshot:

    1. The system saves a new image
    2. The app detects a new screenshot (or you share the capture into the app manually)
    3. That image is stored as one clip in clip history

When paired with OCR (text recognition), you can also:

    • Turn text in the image into a plain-text clip
    • Search, copy, and reuse that content more easily

    Good fits

    • Apps that do not allow copying text, only screenshots
    • Chat or feed content that is tedious to copy line by line
    • You want to “remember” a visual, but still be able to search the text or details inside it later
