Clip Reuse Overview
"Quick Input" (also referred to as Clip Reuse) is a suite of features designed to help you quickly access, search, and insert captured or synced clips directly into other applications. It consists of four tools optimized for different platforms.
The Four Quick Input Tools

Platform Guidelines
- iOS / iPadOS: Set up and use the Quick Input Keyboard (1.13.0+).
- Windows / macOS: Press the global shortcut to summon the Quick Input Window.
- Android: Use either the Quick Input Window or the Quick Input Search Bar.
- Quick Input Aliases are supported across all platforms and reuse tools.

Reuse Tips
- Pin or Favorite frequent clips to keep them at the top of your Quick Input Window or Search Bar for instant access — see Pin and Favorites.
- Use Quick Input Alias for short -> long expansions (e.g., typing
sigto output your email signature).
